How does each process hold up (wash & abrasion durability)?
On outerwear, embroidery and laser are the most permanent; sublimation is permanent only on the right fabric; cheap heat transfer is the one that cracks. Durability is where a wrong pick shows up as returns:

Key rule most listing sites skip: sublimation only bonds to white or light polyester. On a black jacket or a nylon/PU laminate it either won’t take or ruins the membrane. This is the #1 reason a “cheap all-over print” quote falls apart on real outerwear.
What’s the real MOQ per process — and where does “no MOQ” hide a catch?
Typical decoration MOQ is 100–300 pcs per design at most factories; we run 30 pcs because all four processes are in-house. A “no MOQ / 1-piece” logo offer almost always means a pressed logo on blank stock jackets (CMT), not a true cut-and-sew custom garment.

Which process should I pick? (decision shortcuts)
- Chest/arm logo, premium feel, softshell or fleece → Embroidery. Highest perceived value, near-permanent.
- Multi-color flat logo, any shell, tight budget → Heat transfer with a quality film. Cheapest route that still lasts.
- All-over graphic / team kit / sublimated sleeves, light polyester → Sublimation. Only on white/light poly; dyed-in so it never cracks.
- Subtle tonal / logo-on-logo premium branding, bonded softshell → Laser etch. Priciest at low qty, best high-end look.
- Reflective safety logo → reflective heat-transfer film or 3M reflective print (we stock 3M Scotchlite).
