4-Step Inspection Process

01

Fabric Inbound

Every fabric roll graded on the 4-Point System for weaving, dyeing and finishing defects, plus color consistency, hand-feel, and lab-test specs (waterproof, breathability, tensile strength). Reject lots returned to mill.

02

Cutting Verification

Pattern accuracy, grade rule, fabric direction, fiber blend check before sewing starts. Lay-up density verified at 87%+ utilization.

03

In-Process QC

Random sampling during sewing — stitch density, seam alignment, hardware attachment. Stop-line authority if defect rate exceeds threshold.

04

Pre-Shipment Audit

AQL 1.0 final audit — every shipment statistically sampled. Photo + video documentation sent to client before container seal.

Quality Control FAQ

What AQL standard do you inspect to? expand_more

AQL 1.0 on the final pre-shipment audit — every shipment is statistically sampled to that level before the container is sealed. It is one of the stricter commercial AQL levels for apparel.

How many inspection checkpoints are there? expand_more

Four: fabric inbound (4-Point System roll grading for weaving/dyeing/finishing defects, plus color, hand-feel, lab-test specs), cutting verification (pattern accuracy, grade rule, fabric direction), in-process QC (random sampling during sewing with stop-line authority), and the AQL 1.0 pre-shipment audit.

Can I send my own inspector or a third-party agency? expand_more

Yes. We arrange SGS, Intertek or BV pre-shipment AQL audits on your behalf or for your nominated inspector (typically $300-500 per audit), and your own QC team can visit during production — we provide a visa support letter.

Do I get documentation before goods ship? expand_more

Yes — free with every shipment. We send comprehensive photo and video documentation of the finished goods before the container is sealed, so you approve remotely.

Which lab tests do you run on fabrics? expand_more

ISO 811 (waterproof hydrostatic head), ASTM E96 (breathability MVTR), ISO 12947 (Martindale abrasion) and AATCC 22 (DWR spray rating). Documented test certificates are available on request.
